- Abstract
The article discusses the prospects for changing conceptual approaches to the implementation of anti-corruption activities. The key problem with the current approaches is that the fight against corruption is focused primarily on influencing the source of danger – the manifestations of corruption itself – while an equally significant area remains outside the scope of this activity: strengthening the protective properties of objects that are subject to corruption attacks. The proposed concept of ensuring anti-corruption security organically combines two interdependent strategies: anti-corruption and anti-corruption protection. Changing the paradigm of anti-corruption activities in the context of the theory of anti- corruption security involves shifting the resource activity of the anti-corruption security system from responding to corruption crimes that have already been committed to protecting and protecting individuals, society and the state from corruption threats and dangers. This does not detract from the need to ensure the inevitability of punishing guilty corrupt officials, but it actualizes the preservation of the integrity of anti- corruption protection facilities, ensuring their sustainable development while minimizing corruption threats and dangers. The article examines the fundamentals of the anti-corruption criminological security system, the role of law enforcement agencies and corruption prevention units, the reserves of organizations in the field of anti-corruption self-defense, as well as the potential of the institute of anti-corruption expertise. The necessity of transition from predominantly repressive mechanisms to a balanced model of protection and protection of anti-corruption security facilities is substantiated
