About the Journal

The Scientific Journal of the Siberian Federal University has been established by the decision of the academic council from 23.04.07 (recordation № 4) in order to achieve the indicator of SFU’s development program, to provide an international primary right of scientific works of tutors, employees, aspirants and doctorates.

“SFU’s Journal” is a peer-reviewed magazine and periodicity of its series publication (“Humanitarian Sciences”, “Mathematics and Physics”, “Biology”, “Chemistry”, “Engineering and Technologies”) is once a quarter. In comparison with collected works, the Journal must have a constant number of pages, a fixed format and even weight, and that is why the number of articles in the journal issues is determined by the given volume. Articles are published in the chronological order after they have gone the procedure of reviewing, which is “hard and fast” according to the international requirements. Every article is considered by at least two highly qualified specialist of the given direction, those who have a wide experience of publishing in serious well-known journals.

The strategic task of the Journal is to provide one or several of its series to be included into the JCR ISI data base in the course of 6 years and to achieve its impact factor >0,2.
