Abstract

This article presents the results of a study of the most relevant trends in contemporary new aesthetics and their manifestation in the artistic and cultural practices of actors and subjects of Siberian contemporary art. The precursors of the new aesthetics and the main trends in aesthetic transformations are examined. Neo-fairytale is highlighted as a representative aesthetic principal characteristic of the artistic and cultural practices of Siberian contemporary art. The potential of cultural studies of art and visual anthropology for the scientific modeling of new artistic and cultural practices in Siberian contemporary art is emphasized
