Abstract

This study analyzed the contemporary art market in the Siberian Federal District (SFD). The analysis identified the key actors, projects, and initiatives shaping the art market within the district’s boundaries. Projects and initiatives were examined in chronological order: 1) those operating directly within the SFD and aimed at commercializing contemporary art, and 2) those in the final stages of developing original projects with calculated financial results. By examining the history of their creation and studying the core activities of specific actors in the Siberian art market, we were able to identify its specific characteristics, development trends, and some of the issues affecting its development
