Abstract

This paper examines the possibility of the existence of magnetic inhomogeneities such as kπ-skyrmions (k = 0, 1, 2, 3, . . . ) in a magnetically uniaxial film containing a columnar defect such as a "potential well." Two cases of such films are considered: an infinitely extended film and a finite (disk-like) film. It is shown that in both cases, skyrmions with a similar structure can exist at certain values of the material parameters. The features of their structure, properties, and methods for their production are studied. In particular, it was found that by varying the defect parameters, it is possible to transform kπ-skyrmions into (k+1)π-skyrmions, which will occur at the center of the disk
