Abstract

The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the essence, content and target settings of the club sphere in Russia, its institutional, functional, structural modernisation and the definition of methodological foundations of management, which are interrelated with the activities of managers of socio-cultural activities in accordance with the new ontological reality. The article substantiates the necessity of transition of a club- type cultural institution from the inertial scenario of functioning to the innovative model of sustainable development based on the generation of ideas and innovations demanded by the cultural sphere. The problematic issues are reflected, which representatively allow illustrating the fundamental principles of functioning and improvement of the club sphere with reference to the modern paradigm of social development. An attempt is made to study the actual and significant determinants that determine the course of the innovation process, trends and trends of sustainable development of the club sphere in Russia. Special attention is paid to the analysis of internal factors of functioning and development of the domestic club sphere, as well as external challenges, high threats and functional risks. The success of improving the club sphere largely depends on the active activity of state and municipal authorities on a scientific basis, predetermining the ability to identify relevant problems and promptly solve emerging problems
