Abstract

The paper is devoted to the formation of the brand of the territory on the example of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The main goal of the study is to develop a strong brand of territory for the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, aimed at turning the unique features of the region into competitive advantages of an international level. The paper examines the role of the territory brand in the region’s economy and its significance for strengthening the district’s competitive advantages at the international level. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the current activities of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug in the field of innovation. To form a brand of the territory on the example of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, it is important to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the region, determine the target audience and develop promotion activities. This study is aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical developments in the field of territory branding and the practical activities of government and business in the region, providing a basis for effective positioning of the district in the world market
