- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of an incinerator for thermal neutralization of liquid waste, including the calculation of the stoichiometric equation for the combustion process of a general type fuel and the development of the furnace’s energy balance that takes into account the significant impact of additional water injection into the working volume and the temperature dependent heat capacity of the components. The study enables determination of the most efficient operational parameters of the incinerator, which ensure highly effective combustion of liquid waste, compliance with current environmental emission standards, and stable operation of the unit with various types of fuel. The obtained results have practical significance and can be used in the design of new thermal waste treatment plants and the modernization of existing incinerators
