- Abstract
By using a mixture of wood and other fuels for the production of fuel pellets, it is possible to reduce the negative effects on the forest balance due to deforestation, as well as reduce competition between producers who use wood raw materials in the energy sector and in the production of a number of different products, such as chipboard. The process of making mixed pellets from linden with coal dust and linden with peat with the addition of starch as a binder is described. The relevance of the use of mix pellets in the territory of the Republic of Mari El is substantiated, as well as scientific and practical significance with a brief review of the literature on this issue. The comparison of the ash content parameters of mixed pellets with different percentages of lime and coal dust, lime and peat is given. During the comparison of the indicators, it was found that in order for the mix pellets to meet the ENplus – B standards, the amount of coal dust in the initial mixture should not exceed 10 %, and the amount of peat should not exceed 16 %. Thus, it can be concluded that it is possible to select the optimal composition of raw materials for the production of fuel pellets that will meet the standards in the field of ash formation during combustion
