Abstract

The article explores the history of archaeological research in the vicinity of Chastoostrovskoye village, located on the left bank of the Yenisey River in the Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe region. The author has compiled archival data on past surveys, indicating the discovery sites of ancient artifacts, and introduces materials from museum collections. The paper offers critical analysis of the available data, outlining the specific features of the archaeological items and the context of their placement within the sites. It provides detailed descriptions of the artifacts and establishes their dating. The accumulated material demonstrates that the area contains a diverse range of multi-period archaeological sites, spanning from the Late Paleolithic to the Modern Era. Ultimately, the compiled map and the available data from the vicinity of Chastoostrovskoye open up new possibilities for a comprehensive reconstruction of the paleoecological living conditions of ancient populations throughout the entire Holocene
