- Abstract
This article presents the results of study materials from the “southern section” of the 2024 excavation at the Late Paleolithic site Afontova Gora V (Radishcheva) in Krasnoyarsk. On an area of approximately 70 square meters, preserved despite the radical anthropogenic impact of modern development, two partially overlapping archaeological complexes were excavated: the eastern one, with a predominant concentration of cores and products of primary cleavage, and the western one, representing an area of concentration of stone artifacts, bounded on the east by three flat slabs. In the context of planigraphic analysis, the “southern section” can be viewed as a kind of “archaeological enclave” associated with the main site, which was likely located at the top of the slope and now is destroyed by modern construction. The blade-like knapping system and the characteristic tools allow the cultural layer to be attributed to the Kokorevo archaeological culture. The age of the site has been dated to the mid- to late Sartan period
