- Abstract
This article is the result of an analytical work, in the course of which the studies of modern Russian scholars published in the period from 2018 to the present day were studied. The works that reveal the features of the phenomenon of “gender image”, study the processes of its formation and representation in various forms of culture (art, media, social networks, advertising, etc.), the influence of gender images as cultural constructs on the way of life, people’s behaviour, and their motivation were selected for analysis. The analysis resulted in conclusions about the peculiarities of the interpretation of gender images and approaches to their study in the studies of contemporary authors
