Abstract

Problems of the power factor correction in electrical grids of oil-processing plants are considered. A novel approach of passive harmonic filter design is presented. The proposed approach is based on the consideration of the filter as a reactive two-port loaded by the grid impedance. The design procedure is discussed in detail and illustrative example is presented
