The publication in a peer-reviewed journal is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of authors and their institutions. Peer-reviewing of the articles makes it possible to follow the scientific school in the presenting research. Therefore it is important to harmonize the ethical principles for all parties involved in the publishing process: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher.

The journal is indexing by the “Chemical Abstracts”, it is included in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI — Web of Science Core Collection).

Journal of Siberian Federal University “Chemistry” was founded at 2007 right after the establishment of SibFU for the purpose to enhance the research activity of the novel University and to improve the quality of education in the field of chemistry.

Journal of “Chemistry” is multidisciplinary edition in the area of fundamental and applied chemistry. But the papers devoted to chemical aspects of rational nature management have a preference. High urgency of this research area stipulates by availability in Siberian region the enormous resources of mineral and organic raw materials. New technologies of chemical processing of these resources to valuable products (noble and nonferrous metals, motor fuels, cellulose etc.) should be not only economically sound but to generate the minimal damage to environment and to population health.

Regular edition of journal “Chemistry” SibFU (4 numbers per year) was started at the beginning of 2008 year on Russian and English. Editorial board for “Chemistry” is presented by recognized russian and foreign chemists, which ensure a competent reviewing of submitted papers. So as in the leading scientific journals abroad, there is a system of on-line of the electronic supply of articles.

We invite to publish the research results in journal “Chemistry” the teaches, doctoral candidates, post-graduate students of SibFU and researchers from Institutes of Russian Academy of Sciences, foreign universities and institutes collaborated with SibFU on the area of education, fundamental and applied research activity in chemistry and chemical technology.
