Abstract

Results of the patent and literary review of continuous methods of casting and rolling are given in production of a contact wire for railway transport. Including options of vertical, horizontal, inclined casting and a fusion pulling are analyzed. Calibrations of tools for deformation of preparations from the copper alloys intended for production of a contact wire are considered. Methods of increase of operational properties, including creations of thermally strengthened alloys of copper and ways of their processing are revealed
