Abstract

The article reviews the ancient practice of “self-care” with the aim of possible finding methodological approaches to the study of transformations that take place in contemporary philosophical and anthropological project. Directions of these transformations are considered in the light of changes in the style of philosophical thinking in the situation of deconstructionist processes in metaphysics, and under the influence of modern technological changes in the information society, which is being globalized. The conclusion is that both trends initiate a new paradigm of human socialization (“selfcare”), which is characterized by the activity of personal self-determination, self-realization and selfpresentation
