- Abstract
The composition of the humate-fulvate complex (HFC) has been determined in naturally wet and airdry samples of sediments collected from the Yenisei River in the near zone affected by the operation of the Mining-and-Chemical Combine of the Russian Ministry of Atomic Energy. It has been found that the HFC of naturally wet samples varies from the fulvate type (Sample 1) through the fulvate-humate type (Sample 2) to the humate type (Sample 3); after the samples are dried, the HFC is of the humatefulvate (Sample 1) and the humate (Samples 2 and 3) types only.
