Abstract

The article provides with the evaluation of the efficiency of the mechanisms of the state support of economical and social development of the indigenous minorities of the North. It summarizes the practice of working out the programmes of these minorities’ development and evaluation of quality of their life. The authors suggest taking into consideration the evaluation of the conditions of the indigenous minorities of the North, living in their area, and namely in the territories with a high relative density of the peoples of the North, compactly and dispersibly settled and doing their traditional activities, as indicators of socio-economical condition of the indigenous minorities of the North
