Abstract

The research interest in the study of ancient cultures of Central Siberia does not lose its relevance. In this regard, the territory of the Northern Angara region deserves special attention. The archaeological material obtained during the Boguchan expedition makes it possible to further study ancient cultures, including through art historical research methods. In the study and interpretation of the archaeological materials of the Boguchan expedition, their artistic representational capabilities remain poorly studied. The identification of the art-historical aspects of the study of archaeological monuments allows us to restore the ceremonial and everyday aspects of the life of cultures of different epochs inhabiting the territory of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station flooding and preserve the basic cultural and historical knowledge about them. The interpretation of the data obtained during the analysis of the art history analysis allows us to talk about the presence of signs and symbols of a literary text that are read to identify its meaning on a wide socio-cultural scale. The results of this study can be used in the further study of the cultures of the region in question, as well as in the study of their cultural ties with neighboring territories
