Abstract

Paper deals with the development of partnership cooperation of different economic agents located on the south of West Siberia. Cooperation created foundation for the formation of connected local production system. Empirical basis is presented by survey of 65 companies operating on the territory of macro region of South Siberia. Significance of different partnerships’ directions was assessed; priorities of cooperation depending on size, technological level and affiliation with integrated entities were determined. It was found that companies of the sample tend to build relations with partners located outside the region; regional contractors are more important for micro and small businesses. It was explained that membership in the different integrated structures forms partnership experience and leads to higher significance of cooperation. Interregional relations in the area of research and education turned to be more significant than others; they could form the cooperation basis and become the core of connectedness of economic space within macro region
