Abstract

A developed industrial complex determines the growth of the economic potential of resource regions where a significant place is given to manufacturing industries. However, due to the priority development of mineral extraction caused by rising prices of mineral resources, both at the global and national levels, the development of manufacturing industries is being “curtailed”, which in turn leads to a lag in the growth rate of the gross regional product, an outflow of qualified personnel and a decline in the investment attractiveness of the territory. In order to change this situation, it is necessary to implement a policy of reindustrialization that involves the restoration and development of manufacturing industries through the modernisation and technical improvement of their material base. The emphasis should be given to the development of the machine-building complex, the production of which is mainly focused on the domestic market. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the specific features and priorities of reindustrialisation of resource region (on the example of the Krasnoyarsk Region). The result and novelty of the study is a substantiation of the priority directions of reindustrialisation for the region of raw material specialisation
