 - Abstract
 This article describes the results of studies carried out on a physical model of a flat linear induction MHD pump with crossed windings. The results of full-scale experiments are compared with mathematical modeling by a numerical method. The distribution patterns of melt velocities and temperatures with hydrodynamic flows, as well as thermal patterns of the magnetic circuit and windings of the MHD pump, are obtained
