- Abstract
Porous metal-carbon materials based on hydrolytic lignin modified with zinc, nickel, and iron chlorides were prepared and tested as electric charge accumulators. The features of the transformation of the prepared samples during carbonization up to 800 °C were revealed, and the phase composition of the final products was determined. It was shown that the obtained carbonizates contain not only magnetically susceptible components (nickel or iron oxide), but also have a high specific surface area. Testing of the electrochemical properties of the synthesized materials demonstrates a fairly high accumulation of electric charge, and the maximum value of the apparent specific electric capacity (832 F/g) has a highly porous carbonizate containing crystalline phases of ZnO and Ni
