- Abstract
Magnesium-containing catalysts were prepared by the impregnation method on the basis of various types of supports. The structural, acidic, and catalytic properties of the samples obtained during the conversion of propane into olefinic hydrocarbons have been studied. It has been shown that the introduction of magnesium cations into zeolite increases its dehydrogenating activity. It has been established that the largest amount of olefinic hydrocarbons is formed during the conversion of propane on a Mg-containing catalyst prepared on the basis of pseudoboehmite
