- Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of Soviet power judgments about the phenomenon of prostitution during the formation of the new state. Various forms of deviation serve as a reflection of everyday life of society. Sexual commerce at the present stage is one of the debatable ones for researchers of the whole spectrum of sciences. In such a context, it is relevant to study the stages of determining the attitude of the Soviet authorities to the intimate services market in historical retrospect, as this allows us to take into account the experience of developing state decisions in relation to marginalized elements. The study is based on unpublished archival sources. The article pays attention to the reflection of publicistic works on the state decisions in the issue of deviations. The analysis of the stages of formation of the attitude of administrative institutions to sexual commerce showed the positive and negative sides of the introduction of law enforcement practices in relation to the phenomenon of prostitution
