- Abstract
The sphere of artistic culture is a special space where the process of transformation of ethnocultural identity into an all- Russian civic identity is reflected. It is here that certain values, meanings and ideals are created that reflect the essence of ethnocultural identity transformation process. The process study requires the identification of specific methodological approaches, their features and application possibilities. In accordance with the principle of systematicity, the article defines methodological approaches, both general scientific and specifically sectoral, that determine the characteristics study of artistic practices of transforming ethnocultural identity into all- Russian civic identity. Dialectical, hermeneutic, ontological (relating to the essence of culture substantiating), cultural-semiotic and ethnocultural approaches are identified as fundamental methodological ones. The main scientific sources for substantiating the significance of the identified methodological approaches to the study of artistic practices of transforming ethnocultural identity into all-Russian civil identity in this study were the works of G. Hegel, H.-G. Gadamer, V. I. Zhukovsky, D. V. Pivovarov, Yu. M. Lotman, B. A. Uspensky, representatives of constructivism, as well as the modern ethnocultural research results. As a study result, the key provisions of each of the identified methodological approaches were identified and analyzed. The role of each approach is determined for the scientific substantiation of the study of artistic practices of transformation of ethnocultural identity into all-Russian civil identity, as well as for substantiating the relationship between the transformation of ethnocultural identity and sign-symbolic forms of artistic practices
