- Abstract
The study relevance is related to the intensity of the development of modern urban artistic culture, in particular in provincial and relatively young cities: today in many cities more and more cultural institutions are emerging, more and more works of street art are being created, public art is developing along with traditional forms of urban sculpture, etc. Thus, new, interesting cultural practices are developing in a modern city. The article presents the results of a conceptual and cultural-philosophical study of the characteristics of urban artistic culture, starting from the definition of this concept through the concept of culture as a space of ideal formation, ending with the identification of the artistic potential of urban culture, which can be revealed in works of art
