- Abstract
According to various studies, rural areas are where most of the world’s low-income people live. The tasks of the development of rural areas are currently largely associated with an increase in the importance of knowledge about modern management processes. And in this context, creativity seems to be one of the answers to the decline in the countryside. The quality of life is the main determinant of rural creativity in the context of people influx. At the same time, it is worth emphasizing the importance of space for the formation of creative centers. To assess the impact of existing or only planned creative centers on the standard of living of the population of rural areas, it is proposed to use the analytical hierarchy process (AHP), based on expert assessments. This allows, on the one hand, to partially level out the lack of statistical information on the state of creative industries. On the other hand, expert assessments make it possible to more fully take into account the characteristics of specific rural areas, which is extremely important given the small number of organizations in the creative sphere, which leads to the need for a literally individual approach to working with such organizations. Based on the results of applying the methodology under consideration, the evaluation of the expected efficiency of creating various options for specializing creative centers to improve the quality of life in the rural region under study will be determined. The peculiarity of the research methodology lies in the fact that in the course of hierarchical convolution, estimates of the preference of alternatives are obtained from the point of view of each of the criteria that affect the standard of living, which are reflected in the hierarchy. This makes it possible to assess which criteria are the key drivers of the growth in the standard of living for the chosen as the optimal direction for the development of creative industries. Based on the information received, it is possible to find the best combination of creative industries for a particular rural area, which will allow in a complex way to effectively use the potential of this region and improve not only the standard of living of the rural population, but also ensure the progressive economic development of the region
