Abstract

The article is the second part of the study of the socio-cultural characteristics of the Russian community of IT specialists. In the second part of the work, the issues of work ethics are considered, the attitude of the members of the studied community to the problem of the relationship between the individual and the state in the context of responsibility for the subject is considered, and the attitude to freedom, equality, security and control technologies is also taken under consideration. The interest of Russian IT specialists in politics and making social decisions is also being investigated. The value framework of the Russian IT specialist includes the idea of personal autonomy and free choice. The members of the community are characterized by the idea of a person’s responsibility for his life. In the context of interest in politics, it can be pointed out that the members of the group have a request to participate in the life of society, but this request is accompanied by distrust of the existing institutions for the implementation of this request. From the point of view of the socio-cultural potential of Russian IT specialists, a significant point is that the respondents name responsibility among the most important personal qualities. The conclusion of this part of the study is the idea that the Russian community of IT specialists is an important instrument for the socio-cultural modernization of Russian society
