- Abstract
The development of human society is associated with many tasks, which, among other things, are posed to humanitarian knowledge. In particular, it is necessary to understand the various mechanisms for integrating scientific and technological discoveries and inventions into human everyday life. For quite a long time, various models of sociological description of the processes of this integration have been developing. At the same time, it is necessary to build models of such integration, based on the achievements of modern cultural studies. We offer a version of such a study, in which, from a cultural perspective, we describe the mechanisms for constructing a possible future in the practices of the Russian avant-garde of the early 20th century. Based on the analysis of the journal “Modern Architecture”, the following ways of constructing a possible future can be identified: 1. Integration of artistic creativity techniques and scientific models, transformed in the context of aesthetic tasks of creating works of art; 2. An emphasis on the reconstruction of everyday life, which turns imagination about the future into a set of concrete recommendations, rather than into abstract theses
