Abstract

The article provides information on the locations of twelve rare plant species recently discovered in the Kodar National Park in the southeastern part of the Stanovoi Highlands, the Kodar Range. The presented data supplement the information on their distribution along the tourist route in the Sredny Sakukan River Basin and extend the summary of rare species for the Red Book of the Transbaikal Territory (2017). Geobotanical studies were conducted using standard methodology. Population density in the sample plots was determined visually using the Drude abundance scale. Vascular plants were identified using printed keys and information technology. The nomenclature of vascular plants is given according to Plants of the World Online database. A new location in Zabaikalsky Krai was found for Borodinia macrophylla (Turcz.) O. E. Schulz / B. tilingii (Regel) Berkutenko, a relict endemic of Eastern Siberia and the Far East listed in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation. Four species from the regional Red Data Book, Dryopteris fragrans (L.) Schott., Sorbus sibirica Hedl., Corydalis udokanica Peschkova, Dracocephalum grandiflorum L., were noted for the first time within the protected area, on the Kodar Range in the Sredny Sakukan River Basin. For seven species, Rhodiola rosea L., Rhodiola quadrifida (Pallas) Fischer et Meyer, Rhododendron aureum Georgi, Rhododendron redowskianum Maxim., Phlojodicarpus villosus (Turcz. ex Fischer et C. A. Meyer) Ledeb., Claytonia udokanica Zuev, Aquilegia amurensis Kom. new locations in the Kodar National Park were found. Protection and control of their condition should be ensured
