- Abstract
This article considers the features of linguainformational modeling of semantic relations on the scale of statistically relevant linguistic material of ecological topics. It reveals insufficient uniformity and differentiation of the notion and the concept in scientific practice of the metastructural elements of the referential terminological system; it also characterizes the features of the implementation of the metalanguage potential of the concept sphere. The research makes use of “EuroNews Green Corpus” as a type of an instrument-independent one in order to study the concept sphere of ecological discourse. The author carries out processing of the texts using the contemporary software – “Sketch Engine”, “Tropes” and a number of others. As a result, it allows to recognize, rank and characterize a representative set of language units and their semantic potential according to referential linguistic grounds. The study uses a set of methods of intuitive- notional assessment, notional-framing, conceptual-dominant and core-peripheral modeling for linguainformational description of the object concept sphere. The paper tests the notional foundations of ecological discourse, discusses their dictionary interpretation, identifies conceptual dominants, as well as core-peripheral components of the concept sphere of ecological discourse. The analysis shows that the concept sphere of ecological discourse is highly peculiar and semantically saturated. The results obtained confirm the feasibility of synthesis of traditional linguistic methodology and information-computer means. The performed research is significant for optimization of both linguistic and information support of speech practice associated with ecological discourse, as well as for syncretic linguainformational practice
