Abstract

through the analysis of the regional specifics of artistic processes in the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the first decades of the 20th century (and especially during the Civil War), the article examines artistic practices as an ideal-forming system of creative activity that contributes to the transformation of society and has a significant impact on the formation of the identity of society at crucial moments of state building. The material for the analysis was the works of fine art by Krasnoyarsk artists, the work of the capital’s masters who found themselves in Krasnoyarsk during the Civil War, as well as the practice of holding art exhibitions in Krasnoyarsk and Siberia and some features of the organization of professional art education in Krasnoyarsk, considered together
