- Abstract
The article considers the application of dry fractionation technology of quarry quartz sands. A technological scheme for the joint use of air classification and subsequent screening of dust- free fractions is proposed. A mathematical model has been developed that makes it possible to predict the obtained granulometric compositions of sands based on the separation characteristics of the equipment. Based on the results of laboratory tests of the sands of the Chelyabinsk, Nevyansky, Basyanovsky and Bogdanovichsky quarries, mathematical approximations were obtained to calculate the air flow velocities through the air separator and calculate the separation curve of separation
