Abstract

The development of reproductive biojurisprudence and reproductive health care demonstrates the existence of ethical and legal problems in modern infertility treatment programs, which necessitates the search for new approaches, among which is «assisted pregnancy» (uterine transplantation and artificial uterus, artificial placenta). The purpose of the study is twofold: to analyze the new vector of development of reproductive biojurisprudence and biolaw associated with the institute of “assisted pregnancy” and the technology of extrauterine life support; to reveal the legal problems that may arise in the Russian Federation because of the introduction of such technologies as uterine transplantation and artificial uterus (artificial placenta). Modern biolaw and biomedicine are at the stage of modernization of health legislation in order to achieve bioreproductive well-being, guarantee the legal personality of the fetus, legal support of alternative methods of overcoming infertility, namely, conducting complex and interdisciplinary scientific research, state-legal and technological support of uterus transplantation and creation of artificial uterus (artificial placenta)
