Abstract

Based on the concept of anti- corruption security, the article considers the problems of corruption risks in law enforcement agencies, in particular, the issues of their classification into justified and unjustified. Without belittling the significance of the problem of corruption in the law enforcement system, objective arguments are offered that do not allow discrediting all employees, the entire system. The relevance of minimizing corruption risks is emphasized, taking into account the need for an expanded understanding of the latter. The possibility of adjusting the paradigm of combating corruption in law enforcement agencies in favor of the concept of anti-corruption security based on the idea of the balance of relevant measures is analyzed. The article describes the measures already being implemented and formulates conclusions on the need to create the said concept, apply cross-sectoral protection measures, including legal education, prevention of corruption, and protection of IAB officers from unfounded accusations and defamation
