Abstract

The article describes organizational issues and technology for the development of soft competencies of students in the process of studying at the university. The purpose of the study is to build technology for the development of soft competencies of students in the process of studying foreign languages at the university. Research objectives: to clarify the list of soft competencies relevant for students of the selected direction; determine the organizational and pedagogical conditions of the technology for the development of soft competencies in the process of studying at the university; conduct an experimental check of the implementation of the developed technology in the unity of educational, research and creative activities. During the study, the list of soft competencies for successful professional activities based on the goals and expectations of the students themselves was clarified for students of the Pedagogical Education 44.03.05 (with two training profiles) (History and foreign (European and Eastern) languages). The list of soft competencies includes the following skills: interpersonal and intercultural interaction, stress resistance, teamwork, decision-making and responsibility, initiative. As a result of the study, a technology was advanced for the development of soft competencies of students in the process of studying at the university
