Abstract

Determination of adequacy and physical loads perception in training activity is an important task in improving sports technical actions. Assessment of the functional state of skeletal muscles allows to adjust the parameters of loading activity and contributes to the prevention of organism overstrain and injury prevention. The aim of the study is to determine the nature of changes in the functional state of skeletal muscles when performing a Mae-Geri kick. The structure of the performed action taking into account the kinematic profile of the movement is given. Based on the in Vivo myometrium method the indices determining the character of perception by skeletal muscles of repeated motor actions of special orientation in karate are obtained. The dynamics of muscle tone of the three main skeletal muscles that ensure the efficiency of performing a straight leg kick has been determined. The conducted research allowed revealing the character of the influence of the functional state of skeletal muscles on the trajectories of movement of body links. Qualitative and quantitative indices of adequacy of physical load performance were determined according to the indicators of response reaction of skeletal muscle functioning. The results of the study make it possible to determine the criteria for dosage of loads of special orientation. Coaches to organise and plan the training process based on objective principles of action can use the results of the study. By determining the reaction of skeletal muscles to the proposed physical load, it is possible to assess the effectiveness of the training process on the effectiveness of competitive activity. The conducted research revealed that the change in the functional state of skeletal muscles influences the trajectories of body links movement
