- Abstract
This article presents a theoretical and methodological analysis of approaches to assessing regional food security in the ninth digital transformation. The study identifies fundamental conceptual ambiguities and methodological fragmentation in existing assessment systems, which focus entirely on production indicators and self-sufficiency. It explores the random transformative potential of digitalization, enabling the transition from a reactive Diptych to proactive costing and forecasting of food security. It analyzes international practices, particularly participatory foresight and serious games methodologies, and determines the effectiveness of planning quantitative analysis with qualitative impact and behavioral models of key stakeholders. The article concludes by identifying priorities for the application of integrated quarantine to support an evidence-based strategy for food security policymaking to ensure regional development in the digital age
