- Abstract
The article examines the legal and bioethical problems of the realization of reproductive rights in the Russian Federation. The author believes that the basis of legal regulation of the realization of reproductive rights should be set by constitutional law, although the actual regulation of various aspects of the realization of a person’s reproductive choice may involve other branches of Russian law in the orbit of legal influence. The author explores the main legal problems of regulating various aspects of the use of assisted reproductive technologies in Russia: from the conditions of admission of couples (and single people) to reproductive procedures to the use of such a controversial procedure from the point of view of ethical aspects as surrogacy. It is proposed to develop a legislative act that regulates the technology of using in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, the subject matter of IVF procedures and surrogacy
