Abstract

The article considers the phenomenon of ideology in discursive practices, which focuses on the relationship between conscious and unconscious, rational and irrational components of ideology, ensuring the regulation of universal and local social and cultural processes. The authors analyze the basic definitions of the ideology phenomenon, taking into account the implementation of discursive practices. Moreover, the authors consider the interrelation between value and worldview attitudes in the system of ideology and the features of cultural identity, appeared in discursive practices. The authors note that the discursive nature of ideology determines its ability to integrate into multiple processes of developing social and cultural reality. Also, the authors reveal the sources and content of rational and irrational components of ideological discursive practices. The ideological narrative, where rationalized discursive practices act as determinants, initiates tendencies towards universalism, triggering processes of unification and consolidation in society. The irrational aspects of ideology of discursive practices, implicitly contained in everyday life and the collective unconscious, are appeared themselves in developing national character, that determines forming features of local cultural and ideological attitudes. The study thus assessed that ideology, with the help of discursive practices, using the potential of both rational and irrational components, is able to organically influence the solution of internal problems of society, taking into account the multiplicity of contexts of present events, in order to establish prospects for its development in the future
