Abstract

This article presents the results of a study of the ethnocultural characteristics of the Samoyedic peoples. The study’s boundary is the territory of Krasnoyarsk Krai, currently home to Samoyedic ethnocultural groups such as the Enets, Nenets, Nganasans, and Selkups. Significant transformations in the ethnocultural characteristics of the Samoyedic peoples of the Krasnoyarsk Krai are documented, based on resource availability factors associated with traditional economic practices. Elements of spiritual culture take on museum, ethnopedagogical, and cultural-educational forms, and also serve as markers that allow representatives of these ethnic groups to manifest their ethnicity in cyberspace
