- Abstract
New heterogeneous oxidant - the system "TBP-HClO" was found during the investigation of the halogen extraction by TBP from the solutions of different composition. It can be used for providing redox reactions in hydrometallurgical processes, including the extraction of non-ferrous and rare metals. In this work redox properties of this reagent are considered.Organic solutions of hypochlorous acid in TBP are stable and they have high oxidative activity, that allows to recommend them for providing heterogeneous oxidation of water phase components.
