- Abstract
The article shows the negative trends in Russia’s industrial development in recent decades and the main characteristics of de-industrialization of Russian economy. The analysis of the potential for industrial development is based on an assessment of the potential market of machinery and equipment for oil and gas extraction, mining, road construction required for the active development of Siberia and Russian Far East. The analysis of the industrial policy implemented in Russia in the last decade is presented. The basic problems and prospects of industrial policy implementation including the possibility of large companies localization are discussed. The analysis of the Krasnoyarsk Territory industrial development features is stated. The principles for industrial policy that ensures the development of the industrial sector in Russia, Siberia and Russian Far East are formulated. The idea of forming the “Siberian industrial zone” at the Siberian and Far Eastern cities located along the Trans-Siberian Railway is proposed. Some proposals for industrial policy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are developed
