Abstract

The article deals with the issues of human resource investment projects of Northern and Arctic regions. The results of the study’s authors suggest the following conclusions. First, in determining the demand for labor resources of these areas should focus on the model of professional composition of settlements that will ensure balanced development of its industrial, social and business areas, as well as the formation of the living environment in line with trends in perceptions of quality of life of the population of a particular area. Secondly, as a priority development of labor potential, taking into account the specifics of the North and the Arctic acts as the activity potential.
