Abstract

These measurements of polar-orbiting Russian and foreign satellite remote sensing (RS) were used to monitor ice cover in the Arctic. To solve this problem FGBU «SIC» Planet «and ICM and MG SB RAS are carrying out long-term cooperation in the development and use of methods and technologies for satellite data processing. The report provides data on the current and future domestic and foreign satellites, including space system «Arktika», the description of the developed methods and operational monitoring technologies ice, examples of satellite information products on the territory of the Arctic
