- Abstract
The research on a population status in the River snail V.viviparus at the urbanized site of the Small Kokshaga River (the inflow of Volga) on the territory of the city of Yoshkar-Ola (the Republic of Mari El) was carried out. The results of the research have shown that the changes in number and biomass of an investigated species didnt take place. The sexual structure is stable, the population can be considered as growing, because the one -year -old individuals prevail over other age groups in the population of V.viviparus.
