Abstract

According to results of deep oil-and-gas exploration wells drilling and regional seismic data interpretation close relationship between sedimentary cover and West-Siberian plate basement was determined. It allowed conducting oil-bearing capacity prospects overestimation with accounting tectonic regionalization by basement. Initial cumulative recoverable oil reserves of Northern-Eastern part of West-Siberian oil-and-gas basin within Krasnoyarsk region can be 960 million tons, that biggest than previous evaluations. These estimation results are the basis for considering that probability of discovery of oil field with unique reserves, comparable to Vankor Field, is low in Krasnoyarsk region. In most cases hypothetical new fields will have reserves between 2 and 15 million tons. Oil-bearing prospects regionalization conducted indicates priority directions for new oil field seeking.
