Abstract

The static thermal interaction of water component of pulp and freezing slag is explored as a one of the point of a winter slag silting technology in a drained slag heap. It was established the impact of the duration of contact, the size of freezing slag fraction and the initial temperature of freezing slag on the liquid mobile water quantity. The correctness of non-freezing of water calorimetric criterion with the pore of freezing to - 27 degrees Celsius coarse- and medium-grained slag was confirmed. In this case about 80 90 % of water remains liquid and mobile. It was ascertained a slag fraction under 2 mm unfitness for winter slag silting in a drained slag heap of coal-fired power plants.
