Abstract

The new compounds of significant antibacterial drug sparfloxacin [SfH - 5-amino-1-cyclohexyl-7- (cis-3,5-dimethylpiperazino)-6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid] with the acids and the tetrahalogenate anions of d-elements have been synthesized. The following compounds have been prepared: five sparfloxacinium with chloride, bromide, nitrate, hydrosulfate, and perrhenate anions; two sparfloxacindium compounds with iodide and perchlorate anions; eleven sparfloxacindium complexes with tetrahalogenate anions of divalent metal ions (Cu, Co, Zn, Cd, Hg). Their crystallographic parameters, thermal properties and IR-spectra have been studied.
